MD Public Girls Basketball "Week 12 " Top 15 Rankings, Key Games & Recap

Recap of last week’s MPSSA Girls Public High School Basketball.

We have arrived; Week 12 is the last week of the regular season. Last week we got to get a clear picture of who teams really are and cemented the conference championship participants in most county’s. Let us recap. Pikesville suffered its second loss of the season to Rosedale Christian, Seneca loss to rival and defending state champion Clarksburg for the second time this season. Bethesda beat Churchill for the second time this season. This sets up the Montgomery County championship. Oakdale also lost to Frederick for the second time this season. All the aforementioned games were incredibly competitive, all teams played hard. This week we welcome the Westminster Owls, the Carroll County regular season Champions to the “Top 15”. Oakland Mills and Reservoir will battle this week in Howard County for first place. Western will travel to Milford and Seneca will travel to Walter Johnson. We have two huge non-conference games as North Point travels to Pikesville and Frederick host Riverdale Baptist.
