I do partner with 695 Hoops and the Central Maryland Basketball Coaches Association on certain events and publications. Week 3 (Ending December 23rd) “Maryland Public School Girls Basketball”
Week two’s action was great, Let’s recap. Bethesda beat Seneca Valley in a pivotal battle in MOCO. Poly and Pikesville both defeated Western. South River had a great win over a tough Fallston team. Mercy was victorious over Loch Raven. Let’s welcome CH Flowers, Damascus, Catoctin, and Frederick to the Top 15 rankings. The 2nd annual 4A vs 1/2/3A PG County Challenge and the Pikesville Panther Classic were both great events. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the student athletes. This week we have some big games in PG County, Baltimore City, and Frederick County.
Every week I will give you the must-see games of the week and the updated top 15. All throughout the season I will be heading out to cover the games to watch. My plan is to hit every district in the state. When updating our weekly rankings, we take into consideration the “eye test” and strength of schedule. We try to be as accurate as possible, so we encourage teams to please submit your game scores to MaxPreps, scorebooklive.com, twitter, teams IG page or on your school’s athletic page.
