Recap from Last Week: Maryland Public School Girls Basketball
The week started off with Hammond ending the 5-year conference winning streak of Howard. Kudos to the Howard Lions program, unsure if we will ever see a run like that again. We also saw a good battle in Mo. County in which Clarksburg defeated Seneca Valley. The Dulaney lions lost to Pikesville, however bounced back later in the week to defeat New Town at home. River Hill got past Oakland Mills by one. FSK lost to Westminster, then bounced back and defeated ManValley. Oxon Hill lost to Mt. Zion Prep. Milford Mill beat Loch Raven at the buzzer. The top 8 teams continued to roll.
This week we have some huge games. Forest Park travels to Western. This game could potentially determine one half of the City Championship game. Bowie travels to Flowers in a PG County battle. Severna Park hosts South River in an AA County Matchup. Fallston Host Patterson Mill in a Harford County showdown.
